Getting A Degree At Bahrain University

Students from all over the Middle East and beyond are choosing to study at the high ranking Bahrain University. This outstanding establishment was officially founded in 1986 and is the largest public university in the Kingdom of Bahrain. However, its roots go back to the 1960's when the original colleges of higher education were founded for both men and women. Over the years they grew and developed until finally becoming an excellent center of education and employment.

The universities fame has grown and it now offers a comprehensive range of both undergraduate and post graduate courses. There are all the usual offerings including mathematics, English, the sciences and humanities. In addition there is strong support of Islamic studies and Arab heritage.

One of the reasons the college has such a high ranking is because of the faculty. They are some of the best in the world and are truly dedicated to their students. Many alumni have reported that they received care that far surpassed their expectations. Not only did they graduate on time, but fully prepared for a career in their chosen field. The support and administrative staff are also handpicked for their hard work and caring personalities.

A deep sense of commitment is evident as soon as the visitor enters the campus. Everything is beautifully clean, modern and new, yet a feeling of energy and excitement is evident. The students are actively encouraged to become independent thinkers who are willing and capable of making a lasting change in their own community. Personal initiative is encouraged as an avenue to bringing about social change and lasting improvements. Seeing these qualities modeled all around them is the most effective way to impart them in all the students.

Students are also nurtured in the teaching of Islamic studies. This enables them to create valuable cultural and social ties with other Arab countries and also the rest of the world. Graduates are very active in social services throughout the Middle East and beyond. Many go on to teach in schools and colleges, passing on their knowledge to the next generation of students.

One of the main aims of the university is to nurture those individuals who are interested in technology. There are so many opportunities in this growing field and graduate are constantly needed in the research and development of new products. Independent thinkers are encouraged to follow their dreams and go as far as they can especially in the fields of teaching and research.

There is a PhD program that is constantly expanding. Many graduate students are now choosing to continue their education and new courses are being developed all the time. Currently the bulk of the students are in undergraduate programs and spend four years in residence. However, for those who wish to continue their education there are some excellent opportunities.

Technology is at the forefront of many classes at Bahrain University. The administration and faculty really understand how important this is. Not only for the current students, but also for the future of the establishment. Having up to the moment digital access and communication is an essential element for any college today. The faculty are working hard to ensure that each and every student reaches their full potential and beyond. Science is one of the most popular of undergraduate options and the students are encouraged to become independent thinks who make a positive contribution to their environment.
